By using any part of Buhay Aralan® (including buhayaralan.co, courses.buhayaralan.co, and members.jasminemendiola.co), you agree to abide by these terms. These cover the use of our digital guides, online courses, consultation services, and homeschool resources.
Buhay Aralan® Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit educational organization registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission and the BIR. Our principal office is located in Casile, Purok 5, Casile, Cabuyao City, Laguna 4025.Buhay Aralan® provides learning support programs, study guides, parent and teacher training, cooperative tools, and community-based cultural and civic education, as stated in our approved Articles of Incorporation. We do not operate as a formal school and do not engage in activities requiring DepEd permits.📦 What We Offer
Buhay Aralan® Inc. exists to:

  • Develop and offer Philippine-centered educational support services, including study guides, supplementary materials, workshops, parent training, and mentorship.

  • Provide tools for community-based learning groups and co-ops, including the Buhay Aralan® Co-op Mentorship & Branching Rights Program.

  • Organize cultural, civic, and literacy-related initiatives aligned with our non-profit purpose.

  • Collaborate with organizations, communities, and learning groups for accessible, culturally relevant education.

  • Under our SEC-approved purpose clause, we cannot solicit investments nor operate profit-driven securities or investment programs.

Buhay Aralan® Inc. does not distribute income to members, trustees, or officers, consistent with Article Nine of our Articles of Incorporation.All revenues—including membership fees, program fees, or donations—are used exclusively to support our stated educational and community objectives.

🌿 Co-op Participation & Community GuidelinesBuhay Aralan® Inc. is not the homeschool co-op itself.The co-op is operated by member families, while Buhay Aralan® Inc.:

  • Provides frameworks, brand use, and tools.

  • Hosts community events and training.

  • Manages licensing, mentor accreditation, and program structure.

  • Families may join the co-op or participate in individual courses and events. Participation does not grant ownership rights in the corporation.

🏘️ Buhay Aralan® Branches & Mentorship ProgramBuhay Aralan® Branches operate under:

  • A licensing agreement

  • Accreditation fees

  • Use of Buhay Aralan tools and curriculum

  • Required compliance with brand, communication, and operation guidelines

  • Branches remain independent learning groups, not franchises, and may consist of 5–20 families according to the group’s capacity.

💳 Payment Methods and Processing FeesBuhay Aralan® strives to make transactions simple, secure, and transparent for families. Purchases made through our ThriveCart checkout pages may be completed using several options, including credit or debit cards, PayPal, or Xendit manual checkout.Please note that online processors such as PayPal automatically deduct transaction and service fees from each payment received. Our pricing is carefully set to remain affordable, with minimal profit margins, to ensure that our resources and programs stay sustainable and of high quality.For those who prefer not to use third-party processors, you may choose “Manual Checkout (via Xendit)” on the ThriveCart payment page. This option allows you to complete payment through bank transfer or e-wallet using the instructions generated by Xendit.Since automatic delivery and enrollment are not yet available for this payment type, please proceed as follows:

  • Step 1 — Complete your payment through Xendit’s instructions. You will receive an on-screen confirmation or an email receipt once your payment is submitted.

  • Step 2 — Save your proof of payment. Please keep a screenshot or digital receipt showing the transaction reference number and amount.

  • Step 3 — Email your payment confirmation. Send your proof of payment to [email protected]

  • with your full name, order name, and product/course purchased. This ensures we can verify your payment promptly.

  • Step 4 — Wait for manual fulfillment. Because this payment method requires manual verification, access to your files, courses, or membership portal will be delivered within 24–48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays).

Payments made for Co-op memberships, courses, or events are fully allocated to the co-op’s operational costs, materials, and outreach programs.We deeply appreciate your understanding and continued support in keeping Buhay Aralan® sustainable, transparent, and joyfully Filipino.👥 Our Shared Commitments
Facilitator-led classes may operate under a join venture structure where fees are shared between Buhay Aralan® Inc. and the facilitator. Details are disclosed per program.

  • We come together in good faith to build a respectful, compassionate community.

  • We recognize that misunderstandings happen and commit to addressing them calmly and directly.

  • We agree to maintain confidentiality when concerns arise and to avoid gossip, anxiety in other children or speculation that leads to distrust and divisiveness.

  • We commit to supervising our children during co-op activities, both online and in person.

  • We trust that facilitators and core members will guide resolution processes with care and fairness.

💬 Communication & Conduct

  • We bring concerns to facilitators or the core team directly, rather than discussing them publicly or in side conversations.

  • We communicate kindly and respect others’ time and boundaries.

  • We model patience and inclusion for our children and each other.

🌱 Behavior Expectations

  • Children will be reminded to treat one another with kindness, respect, and patience.

  • Parents will help children learn from mistakes without shame.

  • Bullying, harassment, or repeated disrespect may result in temporary suspension or removal from co-op activities after review.

⚖️ Conflict Resolution
If a conflict or serious concern arises, we will:

  • Listen to everyone involved without judgment.

  • Seek clarity before taking action.

  • Prioritize solutions that restore trust and safety.

  • In rare cases where patterns of harm persist or families are unwilling to engage in resolution, the core team may end participation to protect the community.

💻 User Conduct of Buhay Aralan® Educational Materials, Study Guides & Digital Products & Community Expectations
All participants—parents, students, and facilitators—agree to:

  • Maintain respectful communication

  • Follow safety guidelines

  • Uphold schedules and meeting expectations

  • Participate actively in planning and community responsibilities

All Buhay Aralan® materials—including PDFs, courses, workshops, webinars, and coaching tools—are:

  • For personal or group educational use only

  • Not transferable, editable, or publishable without written permission

  • Protected by Philippine copyright law

Users agree not to reproduce or resell these materials in any form. Violating these terms may result in account suspension or legal action.Members and facilitators may be given access to:

  • Google Classroom

  • Learning libraries

  • Co-op schedules and communication channels

  • Licensed curriculum tools

  • ThriveCart and other platforms for registration

Access is a privilege that may be revoked for misuse, non-compliance, or violation of guidelines.💰Fees, Payments & Refunds
Buhay Aralan® Fees apply to certain programs such as:

  • Study guides

  • Webinars & workshops

  • Co-op-related events

  • Accreditation & licensing for branches

  • Optional clubs or classes

Limitations of Liability
Buhay Aralan® Inc. does not:

  • guarantee academic outcomes

  • Is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages during co-op activities or events held independently by member groups

  • Is not responsible for third-party facilitators, coaches, or resource speakers

  • Does not manage, certify, or supervise DepEd compliance for individual families

Families retain full responsibility for their children’s education.All fees fund our non-profit activities and are non-refundable, consistent with the nature of digital goods, we do not offer refunds once access is granted. For technical issues, email us within 7 days of purchase.⚖️ Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

We respect your privacy. This section explains what personal data we collect and how we use it.
Buhay Aralan® collects minimal personal data to process registrations, communicate with members, and operate our programs.
We do not sell or share personal data with external parties except as required by law.🗂️ What We Collect

From time to time, we may document classes or events through photos or videos. With parent permission, these may be shared on our website or social media platforms to inspire other Filipino families and showcase the value of community-based learning. If you prefer not to have your child featured, you may opt out by contacting us anytime by emailing [email protected] with subject: PHOTO OPT-OUT – [Your Family Name]

Amendments
These Terms may be updated to reflect:

  • Changes in SEC, BIR, or local government requirements

  • Adjustments to programs and services

  • Governance improvements aligned with our By-laws (monthly Board meetings, annual Members’ Meeting every 3rd Monday of May)

Users will be informed when changes are posted.

Buhay Aralan® Inc. is not an accredited educational institution. We provide homeschool support resources, parent training, enrichment classes, and culturally grounded learning materials inspired by Charlotte Mason and Classical Filipino education, sprinkled with a gentle Waldorf rhythm, light anthroposophical sensibility, and an inclusive worldview using a carefully Catholic lens.
Our community welcomes blended and LGBTQIA families, and supports neurodiverse and SPED learners with respect and dignity.Families remain responsible for their own DepEd compliance and homeschool provider reporting.
